Tequila & Mezcal tasting
In the Tequila and Mezcal tasting I will teach you how to make the most popular cocktails made with Tequila, including Margarita, Tequila Sunrise and "Sangrita", a tomato based drink made with spices, grenadine, lime and orange juice that is served as a side drink with the Tequila.
I will introduce you to the world of Tequila and Mezcal with five or six different 100% agave spirits which includes the traditional Blue Agave for Tequila and exotics agave plants to make Mezcal like Tobala, Coyote, Cirial, etc.
We will learn how the Tequila and Mezcal are produce, learn the differences in types, regions and flavors and the differences between Tequila and Mezcal.
All of this will be paired with a great dinner with top ingredients, including the traditional Guacamole and recipes with sear tuna fish fillets, sauté shrimp, pulled chicken in mole sauce, etc.

Jicamas Pico de Gallo
Jicama slices, dressed with lime & orange juice, coarsely ground toasted peanuts, salt and a touch of ground chili peppers.
Tuna fish Ceviche
Tuna fish marinated in local bitter orange juice, topped with a tangy pico de gallo with habanero peppers and pineapple.
Tequila-Flamed shrimp, served in a sautéed tomato sauce with garlic, orange juice & a touch of chipotle peppers.
Chicken with Mole sauce
Tender pulled chicken meat cook in a traditional sauce made with chicken consome, dry mild chilli peppers, tomatoes, onions, peanuts, almonds, spices and a hint of dark chocolate with cinnamon. Served with rice in tomato sauce and fresh corn tortillas.
