Tequila & Mezcal tasting

I will introduce you to the world of Tequila and Mezcal with five or six different 100% agave spirits which includes the traditional Blue Agave for Tequila and exotics agave plants for Mezcal like Tobala, Coyote, Cirial, etc. We will learn the differences between Tequila and Mezcal, Their regions, and how are produce.

 

Learn how to make the most popular cocktails made with Tequila, Margarita, Tequila Sunrise, Paloma and  a "Sangrita", a tomato based drink made with spices, grenadine, lime and orange juice that is served as a side drink with the Tequila.

All of this will be paired with a great dinner with top ingredients.

The pricing includes all the ingredients for the dinner, and liquor for tasting and cocktails "during" the paring dinner.

Jicamas Pico de Gallo

Popular snack from Jalisco, made with fresh orange supremes and jicamas slices, topped with ground toasted peanuts, ground chile peppers and citrus juices.

Guacamole

Tasty avocado dip served with tortilla chips.

Chipotle Shrimp

Tequila flamed shrimp , served in a sauteed chipotle and tomato sauce.

 

Hoja Santa Quesadilla

Aromatic and edible leaf, stuffed with goat and quesillo cheese, served with a roasted tomatillo sauce and corn tortillas.

 

Chicken in mole sauce

Oaxaca's favorite poultry dish. Pulled Chicken served in a traditional sauce made with more than ten ingredients, including smoky dry peppers. tomatoes, onions, peanuts, almonds, bread, chocolate, raisins, cinnamon sugar, etc. Served with rice and corn tortillas.
